The Last 10 begins when you exit off the quiet Queens bridge, onto a wall of noise headed up First Avenue. The weekend before the marathon, runners from all across the city and beyond unite to do a practice run of The Last 10 miles of the course together. No matter what crew or brand affiliation everyone is welcome. Led by NYC run culture OGs Wil Tejada and Power Malu, The Last 10 has grown into one of the biggest traditions in New York running. In 2026 it turns ten.
