Music Makes Me Lose Control: How running with music contributes to a better workout.

A couple years back the "Toughest Man in the World", David Goggins went viral after shitting on those who listen to music while they workout. We are here today to tell him to kick rocks, respectfully.

For those who aren’t trying to torment ourselves in the name of "mental toughness" , mixing in some tunes on a peaceful jog can be a great way to help relax. Scientists have found that running can have many mood-boosting effects on its own (reduction in stress, anxiety, and depression, among other benefits) so it only makes sense to throw in your favorite track off the new Bey album to increase that runner’s high. Furthermore, when we feel better we can run longer/faster/don't hate our lives while we do it. If you aren't on the bandwagon yet, we highly suggest some music to give that workout the extra push it needs. For those looking for their next soundtrack, we gotchu fam. Go ahead and peep our Spotify. We just dropped this curated playlist by New York’s @leavemieralone. You are welcome!
